Work Adjustment Training

CCABH conducts Personal and Work Adjustment Programs to help workers adjust to their positions. These include a Vocational Orientation, where individual counseling and group discussion help the individual understand appropriate work behavior and problem solving on the job. Social Orientation helps the person become part of the community mainstream by participating in social and recreational activities, including dinners, shopping trips and tours. Within these sessions, individuals also participate in discussions such as how to budget money, complete banking transactions and comparison shop. CCABH also provides individual, group and family Counseling Services to support clients and follow their progress. Individuals are also referred to appropriate community agencies when specific needs arise.
