Special Aids and Appliances

 

For individuals with vision loss who are eligible, the CCABH will complete a low vision evaluation and assess the need for low vision aids and appliances and daily living skills education training. This service will attempt to promote the individual's maximum level of independence by providing low vision aids and appliances such as magnifying glasses, low vision clocks, large print items, sunglasses, check stencils... The low vision rehabilitation caseworker will educate the consumer on the use of these low vision aids and appliances in the home of the consumer.
